Work photos on the invoice, and a PDF your client can file
Bit & Grain invoices can now carry photos of the finished work, and every invoice can go out as a clean PDF with those photos attached.
At the bottom of any invoice there is a Work photos section. Upload from your phone, or, when the invoice is linked to a job, tap Pick from job and pull in the photos you already took on site. Add a caption under any photo. Your client sees them two ways: as a gallery on their portal invoice page, and in a new invoice PDF that carries your brand header, the line items, the balance due, and a photo appendix with your captions under each shot. The invoice email gains a Download PDF link next to the Pay button; the PDF travels as a link, not an attachment, because photo-heavy attachments are exactly what office mail servers love to reject. You can download the same PDF yourself from the invoice page. Before this, there was no invoice PDF at all, and proof-of-work photos went out in a separate text message.
Say you finish a roof repair for a property manager. The photos are already on the job from your walkthrough, so you tap Pick from job, caption the before and the after, and send the invoice. The manager sees the finished work right under the numbers, and when they need a copy for the owner's file, the Download PDF link hands them the whole story in one document, photos included.
You will find it at the bottom of any invoice, with Download PDF up top next to View Portal. Here's how to start: open an invoice on a finished job, tap Pick from job, and add a caption or two before you send. Attaching photos works on every plan; the client-facing pieces, the portal gallery, the PDF, and the email link, ride on the client portal, which is a Pro feature.
