Move from QuickBooks to Bit & Grain

If QuickBooks is your whole system, invoices and customers live there and the job side lives in texts and a notebook. We move the customers and the invoice history into Bit & Grain, and your bookkeeper keeps QuickBooks for the books. One payment, $1,499. Then $29 a month, with Grain AI included.

What moves

  • Clients, with phone, email, address and notes
  • Jobs, open and finished
  • Invoices, paid and unpaid, with the amounts and dates
  • What each invoice was paid, so your reports start with your real numbers
  • Up to 30 job templates, built from the work you quote most

What does not move

We say this up front so nothing surprises you. Photos and file attachments stay in your old account; keep it read-only for 30 days and pull anything you still need. Card payments run through Stripe on Bit & Grain, so a card your customer saved in QuickBooks has to be entered again the next time they pay. Recurring billing schedules are rebuilt by hand on the call.

There is no live sync between Bit & Grain and QuickBooks today. Your bookkeeper gets payments and invoices from Bit & Grain's exports.

How it works

  1. Buy Switch Over. You get a receipt and a link to book the first call.

  2. On the call we go through your account together and you export your data from QuickBooks. We send the exact clicks ahead of time.

  3. We load it, you check it. Clients, jobs and invoices come across first, then templates.

  4. Thirty days of direct help by text and email, and a check-in call at day 30.

What it costs after the switch

Pro is $29 a month flat, or $288 a year. Grain AI is included. Five team members are included with no per-seat billing. Keep QuickBooks for accounting if your bookkeeper wants it. Bit & Grain handles the job side, estimates, invoices and payments for $29 a month.
