How posting works
Connect your Facebook Page and Instagram Business account once from settings (one-time OAuth, Facebook hosts the Instagram side too). After that, every post you compose goes to either or both with one publish.
The compose surface is built around photo-first posting (the actual shape of trade content). Drop in 1-10 photos, write or generate the caption, optionally tag the job for the audit trail, and publish, now or scheduled.

Caption generation by Grain AI
AI caption generation is the Pro-tier piece. Pick the photos, optionally add a one-line context note ("deck rebuild in Henderson, mahogany rails"), and Grain AI drafts a caption, image content + your context note + tone preference. You edit, regenerate, or write your own; the AI is a starting point, not a final word.
Tones available: friendly + casual, professional + descriptive, hype + before-after. The AI also drafts hashtags appropriate to the trade and the post topic.

What's in scope and what's not
Facebook + Instagram only today. We're not advertising X / Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, or Pinterest support, those aren't built. When (if) they ship, the marketing site will say so.
Direct messages from Instagram or Facebook are NOT inbound to Bit & Grain today; this is posting only, not message management. Inbound DM handling lives in Sprint 10 future scope per the v2 build plan.
