Get paid the day the invoice is sent.

Pro

Connect Stripe in settings. Send an invoice. The customer pays through a one-click portal link. Money lands in your bank, your invoice marks paid, and the per-job P&L updates, no manual reconciliation.

How payment collection works

Connect your Stripe account once from Settings → Payments. The invoice you send carries a "Pay Now" button that opens a secure Stripe-hosted checkout, card or ACH. Customer pays, Stripe wires the money to your bank, and the webhook flips your invoice's status to paid the same minute.

No clipboard re-typing of confirmation numbers. No "did the check clear" follow-up call. The invoice page in the app shows the payment with the Stripe charge ID, the date, and the method, so you have a clean audit trail when the customer asks for a receipt.

  • Stripe Connect, your Stripe account, your money, your bank.
  • Card and ACH supported through the Stripe-hosted checkout.
  • Webhook flips invoice status to paid automatically (no manual reconciliation).
  • Per-job P&L updates the same minute the payment lands.
  • Stripe charge ID + date + method retained on the invoice for audit.

What ships today vs. what's coming

Stripe is live today, that's the payment rail behind every paid invoice in Bit & Grain. PayPal lands Q2 2026; the integration work is scheduled and named for a quarter, not vaguely planned. Venmo is not in the roadmap.

If you've been on a tool that promised Stripe, PayPal, and Venmo and shipped only one, that's the kind of marketing fudge we don't do. We ship Stripe today, ship PayPal next quarter, and don't promise Venmo because we're not building it.

  • Stripe (card + ACH), live today.
  • PayPal, coming Q2 2026.
  • Venmo, not in roadmap (intentionally not promised).

Why payments live on Pro

Payment collection is a Pro-tier capability because the Stripe Connect onboarding, KYC verification, and webhook plumbing carry real per-business setup overhead. Pro pricing covers the operational reality of a payment integration, and unlocks the unlimited-invoice cap that makes payment collection actually meaningful at scale.

Free tier still ships invoices (with the 5-invoices-per-month cap and a manual record-payment surface for cash, check, or off-platform transfers). Free → Pro is where automated card payments come on.

Available on Pro, $29/mo.
