Coming Q3 2026

Native iOS and Android apps land Q3 2026. Today the whole product runs on a mobile-first web app, every page is built to work on a 6-inch screen with one hand on the steering wheel.

What ships today

Bit & Grain's web app is built mobile-first. Open it in any phone browser, save it to your home screen, and you have the whole product on hand, jobs, clients, estimates, invoices, route, command center.

Photo capture, voice chat with Grain AI, signature capture, and offline-tolerant note entry all work in the mobile browser today. Login state persists, so you're not signing in every time you start a job.

  • Mobile-first responsive layout, every page renders correctly on a 6-inch screen.
  • Camera capture for receipts, job photos, and signature collection.
  • Voice mode in Grain AI chat, log mileage, log receipts, ask questions, all hands-free.
  • Add to home screen for one-tap access, no separate login each time.

What lands Q3 2026

Native binaries on the App Store and Google Play. App-store distribution unlocks the things a browser can't do: background mileage tracking that keeps logging when the app is in the background, push notifications you control from the OS, and the polish of a real native shell.

Until then, the web app handles every workflow. The native apps add convenience and OS-level integration, they don't unlock new product surfaces.

  • Native iOS app (App Store distribution).
  • Native Android app (Google Play distribution).
  • Background mileage tracking, auto-logs trips between jobs without keeping the app open.
  • Push notifications for new requests, appointment reminders, and approval alerts.

Why we're shipping the web first

The web is universal. Whatever phone, tablet, or shop computer you're on, the same product loads instantly with no install. That's the right starting point for a tool you'll touch a hundred times a day.

Native apps come next because some workflows, background mileage tracking, offline scheduling, OS-level photo capture polish, genuinely need the OS underneath. We're not delaying the apps; they're scheduled and named for a quarter, not vaguely "someday."
