Estimate + invoice surfaces shipped; unified portal home coming Q2 2026
Estimate approval, invoice payment, appointment confirmation, every client-facing surface renders through a shareable link. The customer clicks, sees a clean branded view of just the thing they need to act on, and acts. No signup, no login, no friction.
What ships today
Three portal surfaces are live in production: estimate approval, invoice payment, and appointment confirmation. Each is a token-secured public link that opens to a clean, branded view of just one thing, the estimate to approve, the invoice to pay, or the appointment to confirm.
Send the link by email, text, or in person. The client opens it on any device, sees what's in front of them, takes the action (approve, pay, confirm), and you get the result back in the app immediately.
- Estimate approval, branded view, signature capture, approve / decline.
- Invoice payment, secure Stripe checkout, paid status flips back automatically.
- Appointment confirmation, client confirms, reschedules, or cancels with one click.
- Token-secured links (no signup needed; nothing exposed across customers).
- Mobile-friendly, works on any phone, no app to install.
What's coming (Q2 2026)
Today, each portal surface is a single-purpose link. Q2 2026 ships the unified portal home, one persistent client-facing space where a customer sees ALL their stuff in one place: every job, every invoice, every estimate, every upcoming appointment, every message.
The unified portal will use the same token + magic-link auth model, no customer signup needed. It just consolidates what's already shipped into one home screen, plus adds a message thread per job.
- One client-facing home with every job / invoice / estimate / appointment.
- Per-job message thread (replaces the email back-and-forth).
- Document library per client (warranties, SDS, install photos).
- Same magic-link auth model, no customer account creation.
- Coming Q2 2026.
Why we're shipping it this way
We could have held off on portal surfaces until the unified home was ready, but the single-purpose surfaces, pay this invoice, approve this estimate, are doing real work today. Better to ship the surfaces that move money and get approvals than to wait on the consolidated home screen.
When the unified home ships in Q2 2026, your existing share links keep working. The new home is additive, every existing surface continues to work, plus you get the consolidated client-facing home.
