Make the app work the way you do with personal settings and address autofill

You can now set up Bit & Grain to match how you work: pick your theme, set your own timezone and your date and money formats, choose which alerts you get, rearrange your dashboard, and fill in any address with a few keystrokes.

Before this, the app looked the same for everyone and you typed every address in full, line by line. If you worked a different timezone than your shop, your dates could read wrong. Notifications were all or nothing. And your dashboard showed what it showed, in the order it chose. Now you control all of it. You set the theme (Light, Dark, or System, and it changes the moment you tap it), your timezone, your date format, and your currency, all for your own login. A full notification grid lets you turn email and push alerts on or off by category for things like estimate accepted, invoice paid, deposit received, appointment booked, and new leads, so you only hear about what matters to you. Dates and dollar amounts now read the same way across every page, from estimates and invoices to mileage and purchase orders.

Picture starting a new client at a kitchen table. You type "1420 Magn" and the real address pops up; tap it and the street, city, state, and ZIP all fill themselves in. That autofill is now in every address field in the app: client records, your shop and job sites, business settings, the client booking form, and the route planner. On your dashboard, tap Customize to drag your widgets into the order you want, resize them, and hide the ones you never look at. Your layout saves to your account, so it shows up the same on your phone and your laptop. If you ever want to start over, Reset to default puts it back.

You can find your personal settings under Settings, then Account, then Preferences; the notification grid lives under Settings; and the Customize button is on your dashboard. Address autofill works on its own anywhere you enter an address. Here's how to start: open Settings, set your theme and regional formats, then go to your dashboard and tap Customize to arrange it your way. It's available on every plan.
