Get set up faster with guided setup and quick wins

Bit & Grain now walks you through setup when you first sign in, then hands you a short list of quick wins so you learn the product by actually using it.

A four-step setup gets your account ready: your business name and logo, your hourly rate, your trade, and where you reach customers. Each step takes a few seconds, and you can skip any step or save the rest for later. Before this, a new account dropped you on an empty dashboard with no clear first move, so you poked around guessing where things were and what to fill in first. Now the path is laid out for you, and a "Get started" badge stays in the top bar until you finish, so you can step away mid-setup and pick it right back up.

Once setup is done, your command center shows a "Try these next" card with five things worth trying: create and send your first estimate, log a receipt against a job, scan a receipt with Grain AI, set up your one-page customer website (or plan your first service route, if you run recurring jobs), and invite a teammate. Say it is your first afternoon on the tool: you knock out an estimate for the kitchen remodel you quoted this morning, snap a photo of the supply-house receipt and let Grain pull the merchant and total, then invite your foreman so he sees the same jobs you do. Each one checks off as you go, so you can see your progress and you are doing real work instead of clicking through a demo. There is also a feedback button in the top bar: leave a note about what worked, what broke, or what is missing, and you can include a screenshot of the page you are on.

You will find the setup steps behind the "Get started" badge in the top bar, the quick-wins card on your command center, and the feedback button (the speech-bubble icon) next to it. Here's how to start: sign in and tap "Get started," or open your command center and run down the "Try these next" list. It's available on every plan.
